WHAT IS SHILAJIT?
Shilajit is a biogenic stimulant naturally made from fermented medicinal plants in Himalayas. Plants, mostly medicinal, are naturally gathered in the mountain crevices. It takes no less than forty years for the plants to ferment, develop metabolites and many biologically active substances. This organic matter turns into what is known as shilajit-bearing rock. This raw material is what is made into shilajit.
HISTORICAL FACTS ABOUT SHILAJIT
Shilajit was first used by practitioners of ayurveda in India. In ancient India, people observed groups of monkeys, who in the summer were licking a tar-like substance. These monkeys were much smarter and stronger than usual. People observing the animal realized that the animals were consuming something that could be highly valuable. This is how the first shilajit was discovered. Healers throughout antiquity used shilajit at a premium healing substance. Shilajit is specifically mentioned in Charaka Samhita & Bhava Prakasha Nighantu, foundations of Ayurvedic medicine. Both works are highly regarded classic texts, which greatly influence humanity’s understanding and medicine and health practices.
NUTRITIONAL FACTS ABOUT ORGANOVEDA SHUDH SHILAJIT
The primary active ingredients in Organoveda Shudh Shilajit resin are Fulvic Acids, Humic acids, Dibenzo Alpha Pyrones, Humins, trace minerals, vitamins A, B, C, and P (citrines), phospholipids and polyphenol complexes, terpenoids. Also, present are microelements (cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, manganese, chrome, iron, magnesium, and other)
The Humic and Fulvic Acid in shilajit is in its most natural and purest form. These two acids are required to dilate the cell walls and transport the minerals deep into the cells. No amount of mineral supplements will be of any use unless they are transported into the cells. Minerals also act as catalysts in the assimilation of vitamins. Insufficient supply of minerals will also mean vitamin deficiency. They alone can transport the minerals through the thick cell walls. Shilajit has 85+ minerals apart from Fulvic & Humic Acid. No wonder the Indian Yogis called it Amrita or the Elixir Of Life

I tried this product with milk it tasted alright, I haven’t gotten used to the smell yet. Good for boosting immunity, although I think you need to try it for over a month to see the effects. I’ve seen other brands cost almost double the price. This one is worth buying.

I was in disbelief that this jar full of goo that looks, smell and taste like tar, actually gives you more energy but wow, it DOES! I am usually constantly tired and have to drink 2 energy drinks throughout the day to have any energy so I was willing to try anything just to feel like I could do anything. The 1st time I tried it, I instantly felt wide awake but without all of the extra anxiety and jitteriness that comes with caffeine. I’m not sure if this helps with iron levels but I feel a whole lot better from just a small drop of this into a small cup of warm water. Definitely recommend!
